About The House of Sorrento

The House of Sorrento, who are we? We are Ruth and Jonathan, partners, parents and now business owners. March 2020, quite a landmark for most people including us and giving us time to follow our dream.  Our dream you may ask?  We had like many people dreamt of something different from the 9 to 5 and being our own boss.  With ideas bubbling away like a boiling kettle in March 2020 we decided the time was right and The House of Sorrento was born.

We are blessed to live in the New Forest, which has been a inspiration to both our family life and now our business life.  Living here truly gives us a wonderful work / life balance, and we draw inspiration from the forest and also the wonderful Solent coast line in the gifts we offer.

Having been keen travellers (before family life took over) we have collectively visited over 50 countries, had some wonderful experiences, seen amazing sights and gained an eye for the finer things in life.  Taking these experiences we are focused on giving our customers the best of service, products and the wow factor.
